Our certified organic cotton is grown without the use of harmful chemicals, helping to reduce the amount of toxins that are released into our oceans from conventional cotton. Hemp is also grown without any help from pesticides, and it requires little to no water, making it even kinder on the environment.

Benefits

Made with two of the strongest natural fibres, our hemp and cotton blend is durable and designed to last. Hemp gives the clothing a beautiful natural drape while organic cotton gives substance and softness to create elegant and relaxed designs. Hemp is also hypoallergenic and UV resistant, making it comfortable against sensitive skin and protective against sun rays up to SPF 15. Cotton has the ability to absorb and release moisture making it breathable in summer and insulating in winter. To get the best out of both fibres we have combined the two to create a fabric that is versatile and wonderful to wear.

Our Suppliers

Manufactured by a Chinese supplier we have been working with and visiting for many years, our hemp cotton clothing is knitted and sewn at a solar-powered factory. Our hemp cotton styles are dyed with EU approved pigment and reactive dyes, pigment-dyed garments have a laundered and textured appearance while reactive dye gives a more solid colour. The factory upholds the highest of working standards and is a part of the Fair Wear Foundation (which we also recently joined) in China, which is an independent non-profit organisation that works with factories to improve labour conditions for garment workers. Employees also have medical benefits, safety insurance, regular salary raises, vacation days and community building. 

Care

We recommend washing our hemp cotton clothing at 30°C, separating the darker colours to avoid colour run. Once washed, reshape the garments while they are damp to keep the shape and structure and prevent creasing. Drying in direct sunlight may cause discolouration. Tumble drying, dry cleaning and using bleach is also not recommended. If cared for properly our hemp and cotton clothing should get softer with every wash.
